1.) Meeting 18H30 for 19H00 at the Bryanston Country Club Bryanston Drive Bryanston 2.) Dress - Smart Casual 3.) Proceed to attendance officers at door. Two Rotarians are on duty as attendance officers at each meeting 5.) No reserved seating .The Club Host is on duty to assist visitors. 6.) Meeting begins 19H00 sharp. 7.) The President opens the meeting 8.) The President asks duty officer of the meeting to open with Rotary grace and Rotary Toast. 9.) President invites everyone to dinner buffet. Dinner 19H00 - 19H20 10.) The Sergeant-at-Arms takes over the meeting. 11.) Sergeant announces programme and duties for the following week, and any birthdays or anniversaries to celebrate and then opens the Winners circle: Winners circle is an event of the day where present members are invited to participate by contributing R5 (often more) and sharing & celebrating some personal good news with the rest of the club. Folding money is preferred! Don't we all love a "silent" collection! 12.) Sergeant announces whisky draw and usually invites a guest to draw a lucky number. Rotarians must display their Rotary name badge to qualify to win. 13) Attendance officers present the current evening's attendance report. 14) President's announcements and members' spots. Any member may request a spot (to be allowed to address the club). President then closes the spots time and formally requests the speaker's host to introduce the speaker for the meeting. 15) The speaker is normally allowed about 20 minutes for his/her presentation. 16) President then formally requests an appointed Rotarian to thank the speaker. 17) The Rotarian thanks the speaker (briefly) and presents the speaker with a gift. 18) President thanks all Rotarians, guests, visitors and exchange students for attending the meeting. 19) President closes the meeting at 8pm sharp and asks the duty officer to lead us in reciting the Four-way test.
