Overview
The Rotary Club of Sandton and IT Intelect are offering a scholarship for matriculants wishing to enter the Information Technology field. The successful applicant will be assisted to :
- Choose from a range of courses offered by IT Intellect at their training centre in Bryanston
- Secure a sponsoring employer who will assist with the practical aspects of training with a view to long term employment within their organisation.
Tuition fees will be funded by the scholarship. In addition Rotary, IT Intellect and the sponsoring companies may be able to assist deserving students financially during the year The training (in conjunction with the practical work block periods) is expected to last for a year. The scholarship is intended to provide an opportunity for young, disadvantaged, intelligent and motivated students to enter the IT industry.

The following information must be included :
- Full name and ID number
- Highest qualification and if currently writing Matric
- A brief personal background including interests, sports and hobbies
- Details of their current computer skills and reasons why they would like to work in the industry
- Details of their latest Maths and/or Science and English marks
- Details of their financial situation, who is currently paying their school fees and if they have any dependants
- Their residential address and whether they would be able to get to the Bryanston training centre each day
- A contact phone number and, if possible, an e-mail address
